History
Traditionally the majority of the doors supplied by NWTP have been bespoke doors, manufactured in house. Typically these have been hardwood feature doors, glazed french doors or any other type of internal or external door as required.
Recent years have seen us move further into the supply of fire check products, including fire doors and door sets.
Certifire
We are proud to announce that we passed our final audit on the 16th March 2010.
Our official Certifire number is
CAF 217
It should only take a week or two before our certificate is issued and our details are available on the register but in the meantime, we have our CAF number and labels and are now able to supply modified doors, door frames and door sets, all with true certification.
Fire Doors
We offer a wide variety of fire doors from a number of manufacturers but in line with our recent certification we are now able to offer apertured and pre-hung doorsets for both
Vicaima and STP/JB Kind.

We can now offer fire rated glazed apertures into Vicaima and STP/JB Kind flush doors with full certification.
We continue to fit glazed apertures to Flamebreaks using the global assessment.
We always use solid timber beads for glazed apertures, pre-finished to match the door veneers.
We like to think we can offer most designs and can offer to manufacture in any suitable timber species.
Odd Size Doors
As all of our feature doors are made to measure you can request any size to suit your openings.
Are you looking for odd sized flush doors? Providing the size reduction is within the door manufacturers specified limits we can cut down and re-lip.
Our lippings are fitted with a Gibbs RF press, so no visible fixings on the edge of the door.

Prime door manufacturers are now able to offer various styles of flush doors as FSC certifed.
As for our own feature doors, we can offer many hardwoods as either FSC or PEFC, subject to availability in the chosen species.
Veneered flush doors are generally pre-finished by the door manufacturer where as our own doors can be supplied with a base coat or primer or factory finished as required.
If we are not asked to provide a finish we will certainly offer advice on a suitable site applied finish.
Frames and doors can be supplied as complete door sets, pre-hung and fitted with the correct ironmongery in our factory.
We are now licensed to supply complete doorsets with Vicaima, STP and JB Kind doors
Doors and doorsets are fully protected before delivery.
