We are continuously manufacturing timber glazed screens, virtually all of which are bespoke, mostly driven by the glass specification.

We manufacture a wide range of fire check screens, ranging from full height corridor or entrance screens (pictured right) to very simple fire check viewing screens (below).
In most cases, the design and look of the fire check screens are determined by the performance or rating required.
We always work within the test evidence for the specified glass and advise accordingly.
We can supply with or without glass, factory glazed where required, although generally we supply with one bead permanently fixed to allow glazing on site, after the screens have been fitted.
We always recommend Pilkington's glass, particularly for fire check screens.
Intumesents
We can use any intumescent specified but typically we supply; Mann McGowan, ISL, Hodgsons, Sealmaster & Lorient
Fully or partly glazed screens have become very popular over recent years and can give a real contemporary look to projects new and old.
Unlike fire check screens there is much more flexibility in the design and the range of timbers that can be used.
We are happy to suggest styles or construction methods or to follow the lead of your architect or designer.
FSC or PEFC
All softwood and MDF linings are available as FSC mixed source or PEFC min 70% if preferred.
Many hardwoods are available as either FSC or PEFC, subject to availability in the chosen species.

Special shaped screens can give a unique effect, particularly in schools or nurseries. This effect can be increased by bright colours and even the use of patterned glass.
All of our screens are bespoke and can therefore be supplied either primed or pre-finished.
We can of course, supply unfinished for you to stain or paint to your liking.
Delivery is usually made on our own transport but for those customers further afield we have the option of using a pallet courier. Please ask about delivery charges outside the North West.
